Barton Hills

Established by the Detroit Edison Company in 1913, Barton Hills is located within Ann Arbor Charter Township and adjacent to the city of Ann Arbor. The village is  located in an area that was too hilly for farming and was instead promoted by company executive as an exclusive residential community for company executives. 

Barton Hills Village remains a unique place of wooded hills, artistic homes and congenial neighbors along the picturesque Huron River.
